“Good conversations deserve to be seen as well as heard.”
I worked with Jalso Production House from July 2024 to November 2025, contributing to documentary films, podcasts and other productions across different stages of the filmmaking process.
During this period, my roles varied from project to project. I worked as a Producer, Writer, Researcher, Cinematographer, Editor and Designer, often taking responsibility for multiple aspects of the same production.
This particular episode was one where I worked as the Senior Producer, Cinematographer and Editor, taking the project from the production floor to the final cut.
For podcast production, my focus was on making the conversation feel natural while keeping the visual language clean, engaging and consistent.
As Senior Producer, I was involved in coordinating and shaping the production. As cinematographer, I worked on the visual composition and camera coverage of the conversation, making sure the footage had enough variation and continuity to carry the edit.
The edit then became an exercise in finding the rhythm of the conversation, knowing when to stay with a speaker, when to move between perspectives, and when to let a moment breathe.
“A good conversation has its own rhythm. The job is to listen closely enough to find it.”
This episode is part of Jalso’s podcast series, where the production revolves around the people, ideas and conversations at the centre of each episode.
For me, the project was less about simply recording a conversation and more about understanding how a conversation can be translated into a visual experience — from the way the cameras observe the speakers to the way the final edit shapes the viewer’s attention.

Across my larger body of work at Jalso, my responsibilities included:
Production · Writing · Research · Cinematography · Editing · Design
This episode represents only one part of my work with Jalso Production House.
Between July 2024 and November 2025, I worked across multiple productions for Jalso, contributing in different capacities depending on the project. I was involved in documentary films, podcast productions and other commissioned work, working both for Jalso and for clients through the production house.
That experience allowed me to move between roles rather than staying within a single department — sometimes researching and writing a story, sometimes operating the camera, sometimes producing the shoot, and sometimes sitting in the edit room putting everything together.
It became an important part of learning how films and media productions actually come together when the work moves from an idea to something that has to be delivered.
